Power is out and the worst of the storm is not expected for another 5-6 hours...it's going to be a long night...

Surgery was successful - relaxing and recovering now. Still a bit stiff and not in a good way.

I'm scheduled for hernia surgery this week, as such, I'll not be able to do too much except watch tv, read, and be online. Stop by and send a note to say hi to keep me from going stir cray.

My first journal post - had the pleasure of being diagnosed with a hernia today, female doctor grabbing/probing the groin area and telling me to cough, while the female nurse watched. Unfortunately the only fix is surgery, which will probably occur in July - at least the surgery can be done laparoscopically...
