4/11/2018 8:01:24 PM: I've recently come to find out that part of the reason that long term relationships I've been in have failed is because the online connections that are made are rooted in the left hemisphere of the brain. It is easy to find harmony with another when sitting behind the phone or keyboard. Even though it feels like the biorhythms are in sync, it's oftentimes a false positive. A real connection starts to form when the parties meet, and hopefully with repeated meetings over the next 6-9 months. Not just interest in a single pursuit, but multiple ones. When people discover that there's not much mutual attraction or interest beyond the initial interest, then hopefully they can part if not as friends, then as mutual acquaintances. If one party just isn't into the other party, it's not because the second party has done anything wrong, it's just that the feelings aren't mutual, and that's fine. Just move forward and view it as a learning experience. It's what I've done, and hope to continue to learn from people I come into contact with as I continue on my journey.
