I have left this account dormant for a few years, but now I’m back as an active participant. I’ve struggled for several years over my involvement on this and other sites while engaged in a vanilla relationship with someone I love very much. Somehow it seemed unfaithful (and destructive to our relationship) to actively participate here while my partner had absolutely no interest in the scene. After some hart wrenching and brutally honest discussions we’ve decided that neither one of us was having all our needs met in the relationship; sadly we were both hanging on not wanting to hurt the other. In past profiles I’ve stated that I seek a relationship based on honesty and respect, clearly I wasn’t truthful to myself… these waters run deep and some one who doesn’t share these feelings can never develop the deep emotional connection I desire.

So I’m back, both here and on other sites. I’ve left my original profile in tact at the end of this (chalk it up to being a lazy writer) and although a few years old it still clearly describes who I am and what I seek and gives a since of my history.

Why no Pictures? I have high public visibility in my community. To indiscriminately post photos of myself would be inconsiderate to organizations I’m associated with and to family members who may not want to deal with the ramifications of such public exposure. I have no problem sharing pictures privately after I’ve gotten to know someone and developed some trust. I will try to come up with some photos that give an inkling of what I look like without revealing my identity. In the meantime I’ll lie (exaggerate) about my physique like so many other men on the net: I’m fat and bald with yellow teeth and a wart on the end of my nose – well may be I fibbed about the wart… now there’s a clue to my sense of humor.

I do have a picture taken at a photo shoot I did in the late nineties (except for the mustache I haven’t really changed.) The girl is a paid model I knew who signed a release for the shoot. I have friends in the scene who’ve seen this photo in a gallery and didn’t recognize me and since the photograph is already on the net I might as well post it.
