Please be aware that not every member of our community is seeking a relationship
Aside from those seeking romantic explorations you will find persons seeking fellowship, to learn more about BDSM or just keeping up with friends.

Gender Neutral Pronouns
We encourage all members of the community to use gender neutral pronouns in their profiles and journal entries.

Please refrain from criticizing the BDSM interests of others
You're not likely to encounter a great many people who share in the entire spectrum of interests found within the BDSM community. This is to be expected considering the diverse tapestry of interests embraced by the community.
That being said and regardless of any person's predilictions it's important to maintain respect for the interests held by others regardless of whether you might find them to be meaningful or fulfilling. Beyond that please keep in mind that it is not appropriate to use your profile or journal to criticize other members of the community.
The words "Dominate" and "Dominant"
If you're new to our community it can be helpful to be aware of the distinction
between the words dominate and dominant. The word dominate is used to to refer to act of dominating someone. For example one might say "Alice dominated Bob". In contrast the word dominant is used as an adjective, for example "Alice theirself is a dominant person".
