| To me, the BDSM lifestyle is far more psychological in nature than physical. Yes, there are whips and chains, but those are the physical manifestations of a psychological relation between the Master and the slave. It has the relations of surrender, trust, honesty, and openness that I find absent in many vanilla relationships. Even things that might be passed off as superficial such as capitalization of titles or the lowering of the slave's eyes in the presence of her Master speaks volumes of the underlying condition.
As a Master, I take much greater pleasure out of exploring this condition than solely the sexual service that a slave provides.
