What a depressing walk home. Came across a very badly wounded cat lying in a pool of it's own blood on the side of the road, poor thing was thrashing around and clearly in a lot of distress. After a phone call to the RSPCA and a few knocks on doors I was able to find the owner, a poor older lady on her own who clearly wasn't expecting a big long haired guy to appear at her door at eleven at night asking if she had a cat. Carried the poor creature into her house for her as she called a vet then left her to it. Hope the poor wee thing pulls through but it didn't look good. Hardly a kink related journal entry I know, but I felt like a vent. Pretty sure nobody reads this shit anyway.. |

How is it that in the BDSM world, we can equate pain with pleasure without any difficulty what so ever, yet not be able to do so in the real world? Like last night at work, for example, when I accidentally put my thumb through a polystyrene cup of blisteringly hot coffee. Scream? Jamie Lee Curtis would have be proud of me. Somehow though, I can't imagine people doing this for pleasure. Does such a thing as a scolding fetish exist? I've decided it must, for as bizarre as it seems, compared to some of the other kinks many of us enjoy, it actually appears rather tame. It's certainly an explanation for the continued production of the otherwise obsolete polystyrene cup, or as I like to call it, the Unholy Grail. The only other good thing about it is that it's helped me finally find a use for this journal.
