	I am returning to this site after about 6 years away. I am recently out of a vanilla relationship and I'm seeking only friends for the time being. I've had sort of bummer luck when it comes to the lifestyle seeing as how all my recent partners, none of been interested in it and were only willing to try light bondage and a friend of mine pointed me back in the direction of this site. Though right now, I believe I just want to seek friendship and conversation, I think this will be my step back into the lifestyle that has always fascinated me even though I could find no one to share that interest with. As far as myself goes...well...I'm just an average girl. I'm more of a home body than a social person. I get really shy around a lot of people but I tend to open up online. I love to roleplay and have been doing it for 15 years now. My biggest love right now is reading. I go through books like crazy and love to have people to talk to about them that enjoy getting excited about fictional characters. My particular flavor of poison is paranormal romance including JR Ward and Sherrilyn Kenyon topping my favorite list. I love music. I tend to lean quite a bit towards rock and alternative but I enjoy all kinds. Though I'm a Pagan, you might even find a few Christian songs in my music mix. I tend to listen to what speaks to me or ones that I enjoy the beats to, rather than what would be socially acceptable for someone like me. I enjoy movies though I don't watch them nearly as much as I used to. Like I said above, I tend to have my nose stuck in books all the time. I enjoy movies similar to my books though. The last one I watched was Underworld Awakening (which was awesome by the way). I'm a bit of a geek though and liked the Harry Potter series and though I plan to see the last Twilight movie when it comes out, those books and movies are just sort of 'meh' in my opinion. Though I don't get out much due to being between jobs and not having the money to do much, I like to fish, swim (indoors more than outdoors), play pool or just enjoy a nice afternoon with friends either out to eat or walking around some stores. As I said, I'm sort of just...dipping my feet back into the lifestyle. I'm not sure when I start looking what I'm going to be looking for. Though I'm a submissive at heart, I tend to have a bit of a "control" problem at times so I suppose that would make me a switch. Again though, I'm just seeking those that share some of my same interests to chat with and get to know. Not looking for any kind of commitment. Just casual conversation and friendship.

Though websites and here and there chat with my D/s friends at work were helping me learning more about the lifestyle I still felt like I needed more. So I listed the help of a close friend.

Sir has been in the lifestyle real time for 23 years now and has agreed to train me until the time when I am ready to find a Master.

We have been training for 2 days now. Just basics for now, learning positions and rope tying and things of that nature. He said things would get more difficult as time progressed and I'm up for the challenge. I have found someone to train me in the ways of a submissive who I truly trust, can be honest with and know I will receive honest feedback from. Plus, being a mutual party, there would be nothing sexual between myself and Him, simply a wonderful learning experience that I am all too happy to partake in.
