Coming into Santa Cruz yesterday was awesome. It's been awhile since
I've seen any of my old haunts. My muscle memory was itching to jump
into the jog I've done so many times along west cliff. Got there just
as the sunset. What perfect timing! Enjoyed a nice bit at the wharf -
Stagnaro's. Enjoyed a few minutes to check out the seals and stop into
Marini's so my friend could pick up some sweets and watch the surfers.

Am very happy to know I'll be back in the area soon with plenty of
time to revisit the places I wasn't able to see last night.



Almost time to go through security.

Looking forward to feeling the warmth of the island soon. It should be
a very special time this trip - looking at it as a last moment before
the next phase of things to come for me.

A poll was taken on another BDSM site (i can't post the link here) on what Dommes find endearing and important. First and foremost was **SERVICE** (surprise!), then came (not in any order) honesty, trust, honor, authenticity, sincerity and self-awareness. When you have those things, everything else falls into place.

One element of Zen is meditation.   so called zazen or sitting meditation but I do this while jogging, reading and most of all service. When you are relaxed you are more focused and effective in the task at hand.  To focus on my Dominant, zazen is an excellent tool.

i often walk down the street and find myself laughing at what i see and hear -- at the overly intense conversation regarding a woman's handbag; the way some dogs look like their "parents;" and the way some little boys jump when they are promised frozen yogurt.  Do You become in tune with Your surroundings?
