I'm just starting out in the whole BDSM community, but I'm definitely up for both new experiences, and eventually, someday finding my OTL. After experimenting here and there, I'm finally ready to let some of my inhibitions fly and try a few new things out-with someone whom I can trust. I was screwed over hard not too tremendously long ago, so I am neither up for a one-night-stand, nor a simple "quickie." (Online or otherwise.) I won't meet up IRL w/people I don't implicitly trust (after get to knowing them for a good bit), and people who press for such things will only send me packing. (For physical safety reasons, not just emotional ones.) However, during the past few years I've definitely discovered that bondage, cages, violet wands, knives, (INFORMED, CONSCIENTIOUS) blood, & sensory play all sound very fun to me. (I'm just about knowing the person w/whom I'm playing first.) Oh- and although I'm not into "Pain" particularly, I have found I do indeed dig the thwack of a well-slung flogger, the binding of a corset, and the occasional soft kiss of a steel blade. (Though I'll pass on the major stabbings & fatal injuries, thanks. ;P) Currently I'm looking for friends, and maybe something more- if it should develop. Finding one who's a potential top and/or guide through all of this would be lovely, but again, it all comes down to meeting someone who actually gets me, and whom I can (hopefully) trust. I'm not much into dating prefab couples, and to be honest I'm mostly interested in meeting women at the moment. But if you wanna get down to brass tacks where "the life" is concerned, my ideal would be either to find a rather feminine mistress, or a lovely, longhaired dom or switch gent. And getting to know them so they could trust me, as well. :) But finding a special connection and a kindred spirit is about more than just looks and a pretty face. So, enough of my parenthetical asides! ;D Outside of all this hullabaloo, I sing, make all kinds of art, like to dance (especially when learning Cabaret & Tribal-Fusion-style bellydance), once hosted my own music-based podcast, and enjoy everything from fashion to fantasy, faeries to fiction, horror to HGTV/DIY. :) I hope to meet new & interesting people here regardless, and look forward to making all kinds of new, fabulous friends!
