Aloha!

Okay, I'm really a mainlander, but it was one way to break the ice. The other would have been a pick-ax but I didn't have one handy.

Attempts at wit aside, I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. Let's see... I'm a real person, for one. I work full time, I go to school full time, I have friends, I have hobbies. Some of the latter include hiking, snowboarding, photography, coffee, politics, philosophy, good company and good conversation. Oh, and sex is good, too.

So what am I doing here? Pretty much the same thing everyone else is, I think; looking for something.

What am I looking for? Well, aside from social interaction and the possibility of new friends and possibly more, I have a general idea of the /type/ of person I'd like to interact with. It goes a little something like this:

One dominant male. Intelligent, witty, honest, trustworthy, hard when hard is needed and compassionate when compassion is needed. I'm looking for someone who is monogamous. I'm looking for someone who is dominant but not dominating (outside of the bedroom, that is). I'd like to give myself over without giving up my life. Meaning, I want a strong man, a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to take it, a man who appreciates a woman's personality as well as her body, a man who is complete master in the bedroom and cherished partner outside of it.

So, that being said, if you're interested in a full time slave or a poly relationship, I'm probably not the one for you.

If you have any questions or you'd like to chat, feel free to send me a mail. Also, I have pictures that I might be willing to share. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

So, I've come to a realisation.  Between work and school and trying to balance a social life with an academic one, I'm not really sure I can offer what most people here seek.  I enjoy meeting people, and the conversation and flirting, but at this time I'm just not looking for something serious, or a lifestyle change.  Maybe in the future!  I appreciate the interest, and the support after my negative experience, and I always welcome mails, but I do believe my searching is done for the time being.  XO!

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't this site created to allow people to come together and meet other people, discuss ideas and connect with likeminded individuals?  Why, then, do some people think that unless you embrace the lifestyle fully, you don't belong here?  Is everything so black and white?  I thought it was about embracing sexuality, not embracing one category or another.  If you don't agree with my ideas, or I don't agree with yours, that's fine.  That's part of life.  I find it highly offensive to be called vulgar names, to be harassed, simply because I don't embrace one specific ideology.  It's a big world.  There's room for more than one.  At any rate, it was just a disappointing experience and I hope there are others out there who feel the way I do.
