This has been empty for the longest time, because really what does one put in here? If I try to express something about who I am in the BSDM context or how I perceive things, the labels I use may differ from how you apply them. Something we agree on in principle may become a stumbling block. So, it seems more effective to attempt to convey a sense of who I am as a person...
Who I am as a person... ok, that didn't work so well. Out of the frying pan into the fire. I mean, how does one explain who they are in a couple of paragraphs without sounding egotistical, pushy, desperate or just plain weird. lol And even if I were to accurately describe myself, that would only tell you where I am today - not where I desire to be.
Let's just do it this way...
What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal. -- Albert Pine
Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself. -- William Faulkner
You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them. -- Malcolm Forbes
To the world you might just be one person. But to one person, you just might be the world. -- Unknown
With lies you may get ahead in the world - but you can never go back. -- Russian proverb
One Hundred Years From Now
It will not matter what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
How much money I had in my bank account,
Nor what my clothes looked like.
But one hundred years from now
The world may be a little better
Because I was important
In the life of a child.

I believe in every intimate relationship of any sort, one has an obligation to protect the other, and as part of that comes a responsibility to support them in their growth, health (mental, physical, and spiritual), and general well being. Many tools may come into play: encouraging them, enabling them, challenging them, demanding of them, and if necessary forcing them. This responsibility is a burden not worn lightly, but its rewards are many.
More as I am reminded of them ... but in the mean time if it matters: I can juggle (I knew you were wondering), I can make balloon animals, I find origami relaxing in a zen kind of way. I teach martial arts to kids (which is not relaxing in any sort of way!), I draw straight lines very well. I am a geek by profession. I am loyal to a fault.
Be forewarned: I have a tendency to be a wiseass or make a joke in the face of seriousness. Don't take it personally, it is just part of the fabric of me.
