| I have explored the Realm of Dominance & submission over 25 years. I believe the psychological, emotional, spiritual connection comes first..between partners of equal intellectual strength. Not between a bully and a doormat (altho I don't judge others). In mny ways the vocabulary of D/s...for me "dominant" is better described as the Trusted Mentor, Teacher, Guide and Protector who makes the vulnerability of psychological, spiritual surrender safe..."submissive" is the won with the strength, self-awareness and self-confidence to surrender...together, as equals, they they find the appropriate path(s) for the journey. Maturity and experience are the best teachers...which is why I prefer a woman in a stable, secure, discreet marriage.
