Have lived in Vegas a little over a year.  Man, this winter has been cold.  And it's not over yet. Never would have expected that.  Low 20s the other day.  Brr.

Back in the saddle after a pretty long break from CM.  Updated profile, etc. 

Interested in discovering and engaging new submissives, preferably ladies who can recall when Letterman was edgy, when "The World's Most Dangerous Band" was just a 4-piece, and when Belushi was still a samurai. 

A lot has changed since then--we in the fetish world were more isolated and it was harder to find ways to connect with fellow kinksters.  Now it's a mouse-click away...yet it's still not easy finding compatible partners, is it? 

In fact, in some ways it's more difficult--websites abound, you can read thousands of profiles...but so few seem to fit, and then there are the 15-year-old boys in Russia posting busty profile pictures snagged from porn sites, with pink screen names, hoping to...I dunno...get your bank account numbers or something.

If you're a female on CM, you're deluged--your inbox is so stuffed you can't sort it out.  Half the guys can't spell or compose a coherent sentence, and then there are the ones who start right off by ordering you to kneel and lick them in obscure places before you've even said hello.  (I guess some fit both categories).

And if you're male, you could send a hundred messages before one is answered, if any are at all.  I read lots of complaints from women concerning men who get hot & bothered because their messages don't get responses.   It's amazing how many fem sub profiles contain disclaimers (or rants about being flamed, or both).  I guess the balance must be pretty lopsided in that regard.  It can be frustrating for the guys, too, though, spending time and pouring energy into messages that sometimes don't even get read before heading for the trash--many women complain of one-liners or cut-and-paste jobs--that's understandable, but please also consider the other side of the equation, that being lots of carefully-thought-out messages which are ignored.  I don't cut and paste messages (or write one-liners) but I can well imagine why some men would, after a while.
