So, we up and decided to make a couples profile. This is Valyraen and AquaticSub, just got a joint account for the sake of consolidation. We're probably both going to still be on our separate accounts, but will be checking mail on this on one. Hopefully this helps let people know that we are looking as a couple. :-)
So a bit around us... Aqua is the nice (female) one Valyraen is the mean one. So if you are coming over from the forums and think Aqua is a bitch... don't screw with Val. It's not suggested for improving your health.
We are both huge geeks and Aqua even has a Spider-Man inspired tattoo. So we are looking for a geek-friendly person. We're also looking for people who are open to attending kink events, like munches and play parties.
We are looking to take things slow and get to know you before jumping into anything, for everyone's sake. And while things can always change, and probably will, there are a few things about us and our household that you should know.
- Aqua has lost a significant amount of weight that she never wants to put back on. Your weight is not a disqualifier HOWEVER you will need to be respectful that Aqua doesn't need a lot of cookies around the house. If you ever move in with us, there are restrictions on what types of food you will be able to bring in, how much and how often. Don't take this to mean you'll never be allowed to have cookies in the house, just that they will be treats and not a daily thing that is stockpiled. Don't worry you aren't alone... Valyraen isn't happy about that one either. ;-)
- We are Jewish and keep a basic level of kosher that basically involves "Don't bring pig into my house". When we have more funds and move into a different house, Aqua is going to set up a "piggie porch" where those who eat pork, including Val, can munch on their piggie treats to their hearts content! And relax - food restrictions only apply to what you bring into the house. Neither of us give a damn if you eat a bacon cheeseburger and five pieces of cheesecake, just don't bring it into the house!
- Speaking of Judaism... Aqua is uncomfortable with the thought of a Christmas tree in the house. We will do our best to make a good comprise and she has no problem with decorating a tree in the yard or with someone putting a tree in say... their personal bedroom. Your religion isn't a disqualifier. Another Jew would be nice but so would a millionaire! We believe that if we all want it to work, it will work. :-)
- We believe in honesty and openness. If you think we are being assholes, tell us. That's the way we do things our house. Do your best to be polite about it but definitely tell us. Remember, we can't fix things if we don't know there is a problem and if you are with us, we'd like to keep you there.
- Another "rule" (yeah I know it's a bummer) is that everyone needs to be able to support themselves and have a job. Aqua is currently unemployed but actively looking for work and considering going back to school. Anyone who was going to move in would need their own income or way of pulling their weight in the house.
- Ours is a house built on laughter and love. Be able to joke with us, be affectionate and loving. We don't do stoic here. :-)
- We are big animal lovers. We have two cats and a ferret so it's important that anyone coming into our lives love animals as well! We love our little sweeties dearly and they are all quite loving and affectionate.
This seems like a good start. As always, it will be changed and edited as our lives change and as we learn more about what we need.
Also, Aqua is open to the possibility of a V relationship with both men and women of both sides of the leash (provided they get on with Val and respect him). Valyraen is less open to a V and more inclined towards a triad.

Woot! Things seem to be looking up for us in regards to life in general. We're still looking for a third but things are good!
