Taste is important to me, and it starts with fine food. I adore flavorful cuisines from around the world, particularly those of a spicy bent from India, Thailand and Japan. I enjoy preparing them myself, and I enjoy having them prepared for me even more. A wise friend once taught me that those who cannot enjoy their food are lost, for how could they be taught to enjoy the taste of anything else. Life, like food, has many flavors and I wish to taste them broadly. Even the unpleasant ones have something to teach, and are a price worth paying to seek and find new pleasing tastes.

I am physically fit, muscular and athletic. Sports and weight training are a staple of keeping myself sane in a world that all too often isn't. On a weekend you are likely to find me hiking through the trees, playing frisbee or salsa dancing. I want a companion who is fit, active and adventurous, as well.

I am an intellectual, educated professional. I read widely and enjoy deeply philosophical conversations. Learning and growth go hand in hand and above all else I live to evolve, striving to be better tomorrow than I am today. Exploring new ideas, viewing additional perspectives and manipulating abstract concepts builds a greater understanding, both of yourself within and the world outside. I seek an apt pupil, eager both to learn from me and explore with me.
