***I am now splitting my time between Toronto and Daytona Beach. I will update my profile shortly *** Everything is context and expectations I guess. I was at a club last night. It was a Sunday. Normally it’s a retro Rock & Roll place with bands covering AC/DC, Stones, Brian Adams and the like but on this occasion there was a couple of DJs on the stage with three men in T-Shirts, baseball caps and an excessive amount of gold jewellery. The DJs cut up different songs and the Gold Jockeys tried to encourage people to sing along. The evening went along fairly predictable lines until the shocking moment when the DJs played “I Want it that Way” by the Backstreet Boys and the crowd sang the Weird Al Yankovic parody version “Which Backstreet Boy is Gay”. The disorientation of the Gold Jockeys was really something special. Obviously someone in management considered this to be some sort of emergency cause the power to the speakers was cut and the overhead lights came on. People stood around as if they expected an evacuation order to be issued at any moment but it never came. About 45 seconds after it had all started, the lights turned off and the music resumed. The whole thing made me think of CM. ....... and “Yes” I am about to tell you why. Judging by the profiles I have read, it seems that many of us are here looking for something lasting, ongoing and (dare to say it) romantic. What surprises me a little is that so few of us actually discuss the basic details of our lives. No one talks about work, what they do for fun, recent adventures, hobbies or anything that would help anyone really learn who they are. I enjoy the ‘Ole In-Out, In-Out as much as the next guy but as Groucho once said “I love my cigar too but I take it out of my mouth every now and then.” The sad truth of the matter is that sex often leads to conversation and if we aren’t ready for it, it can take us by surprise. It is for these reasons that I have decided to write a profile that will avoid all talk of my penis, my overbite and my superfluous third nipple. It is also free of the phrases “On your knees bitch”, “Shake it, shake it like a British nanny!!” and most notably “Are you going to finish that?” Instead I am going to talk about the more ordinary side of my life and leave it to you to ask me about my expectations of a submissive and what I offer as a Dom. Forgive me if I seem a little vague when describing myself. I am a professional who has lived and worked in downtown Toronto for over ten years. I live in the Queen West area and enjoy the diverse cultural opportunities this presents. I try to see a new band or some live comedy at least once a week. I run, I ski. I race sailboats. I tend to hang out with women who are younger than I am but this never seems to be a big deal. Personally, I have never felt all that grown up myself no matter how much other people want or expect me to be. I attribute my feelings of youth to my lack of current wives, x wives, children, cats, dogs, fish, arboreal howling monkeys and children. (I know I said children twice, but damn if those little guys can't put the years on a man.) I read a lot and I write from time to time. I travel a lot and do my best to take in various cultural opportunities that presents. For those of you who are looking for a live-in Poly sort of thing, I can tell you that I live in a 5,000 square foot house. The master bedroom is large enough to push several king sized matrasses together. Well, that’s it I suppose. If you would like to hear more about me, what I expect or what I offer you can feel free to say hello.
