Back after taking a break..this site can get tiring... For those that I have shared with, this is known; I wrote this "tongue in cheek" out of frustration and also dismay over much of what I found here... Still the sentiment rings true,,often the qualities that endear our pets to us are sadly lacking in those that profess so much more on this site (and others) I hope you read and enjoy and take in the spirit written. Having been married and disillusioned I am looking for "mans best friend" After searching for awhile, my kennel is still empty and I have decided to search here for that one that meets the requirements I seek. I am looking for one that knows her needs and craves to be fully owned as pet. I seek a pet with the following characteristics: She must first and foremost be loyal, affectionate and protective of it's family. She must have good intelligence in that she is easy to train and able to complete and perform assigned tasks and tricks. She must have an even temperament, well behaved and eager to please. She must show poise and confidence though wary of outsiders, and not be prone to to immediate and indiscriminate friendships. She must be approachable, quietly standing its ground and showing confidence and willingness to meet overtures without itself making them. She must be able to present as poised, and when the occasion demands, eager and alert; both fit and willing to serve in her capacity as companion, pet or guardian, whichever the circumstances may demand. She must must have good health and confirmation, good stamina and also be "cat-like" in that she will not demand constant attention. She must be adaptable to the surroundings she finds itself in and eager to please, content to be alone in her kennel or yard as lying at the feet of her owner.. While I did write this highlighting qualities.. circumstances and finding none... I am open to those that truly seek to live as a pet.

many write asking if the photo in profile is my pet.. the answer is no! I chose that picture as it most fully suggests and shows the peace and security and contentment that I believe a pet would have as it curls at your feet.. The joy of simply being owned, and safe

Puppies as well as other pets need to  play to be content but have one who they return to and who is there for them and responsible
