Hello again to all who read this:

I have often wondered how many people are married to their jobs. I think this is a very good subject to speak about as I am and I am not. I am not so into my job it takes all the life out of me, yet I work very hard and get things done that need to be doing. I don't consider my job more important than my family, I certainly wouldn't let it rule my time with my family or my interests either for that matter.

I believe in what the Bible says about how we should live our lives, what is to be the most important in fact. My God comes first. I must have true Leadership in my life in order to live it well and decently. My husband comes second, I devote my life to him as well, but not to the point of forgetting God comes first. My family comes next, gee they are third why? Because God is the most important he always comes first.

My husband is second as my children are grown men now, and have families of their own and if they were not, they would still come third as they are super important to me but at the same time, I shall live with my husband even after they are gone.

Next comes my church and the people and things I do with them, they too are my family, my religious family, we shall be singing in heaven when the time comes, and I can't wait to see them either. I love my church family a great deal, they are wonderful loving and kind people who love God as I do. Very comforting.

Next comes my home I shall defend it, and love it as that is what makes my husband comfortable, my guests comfortable which is very important to me. One should always make guests feel right at home. I love my home and am proud to keep it in the way not only I like, but my husband wishes it to be. This gives me a great sense of achievement in life and pride to do well at it.

Gee I guess work falls down to five huh? It's way down on the list as it should be. Yes I love my job too, but I could love another job as well, it is not my be all end all position in life. I do it so we can survive and for the satisfaction of doing something I am proud to do. It is not however the person I am, nor does it give me more than that. My job has to do with the person I am, because I am that person not because it makes me something more. I am who I am the job doesn't matter. If I worked for minimum wage I would have to watch my spending just the same as if I made a million dollars a year. Yes the million a year would be nice to have, but it is also more than I need, and I always look at what I need compared to what I want. I am not the job, the job is what I make it to be. It doesn't mean I won't do well because of my other priorities, but they always come first. I expect my employer to understand that. Even though I own a resort and I work for myself now. It was not always that way. I did work for other people many times and in many ways, doing many diverse things for money to live on. In all of my experiences I have always known the job is not me, the job is what I make it to be. If I earn my promotions then I earn them, if I do not and I want to, I have to find a way to make that happen, or find another job I can do well enough to seek out the promotion I wanted.

I feel the same way about slaves in that sense. If you come to my home, I believe it is your intention to do well, however it is what one puts into that. If you have come to be lazy and not work, then it shall never happen between you and I. If you come just to please me, it shall never happen either. You may think you are putting yourself out there to serve, but actually you are serving yourself because you do not take the time to do the other things in life that make your life more complete, and that is not serving me, but causing you to not serve yourself either which is very important if you are going to serve me and be successful. I hope ya'll get this, if not ask the question.
