In a world that forces limiting labels (i.e. gender, sexual orientation, role, activity level and nature of sought-after relationship), I honestly do not know where I fit in.
I am a trans-attracted man, that is absolutely certain. I need the love of a woman (trans women ARE women) whom I know to be real. I believe that gender exists on a continuum, and throughout my entire life (and even more so the last ten years), my identity has increasingly been trending towards the female end of the spectrum.
Perhaps the greatest disappointment and frustration of my life stems from my not having seized the opportunity to align my gender expression with my gender identity - if only for limited, sporadic periods of time. Even my sexual orientation (they are not the same!) continues to pose a dilemma, in that my physical, romantic, and emotional attraction to other people is not enduring, but evolving. What is absolutely certain is that binary classification schemes do not work well for me.
So, if you are a woman (and again, trans women ARE women), and seek to become acquainted with an understanding, compassionate and respectful gentleman, then I ask that you please reach out. I offer you understanding, encouragement and companionship. If you are intrigued by the challenge of identifying and nurturing existing but not yet developed femininine personality traits, in you or in me, then I ask that you please reach out. Know that you will be warmly embraced, respected, and appreciated.
A stress-free visit to a coffee shop, or maybe just a walk in the park, would be a great way to initially get acquainted. Who we are for one another is vastly more important than what we do for one another.
