My Dad was laid to rest yesterday with full military honors. I'm sad he's gone but he's happy to be with his wife again.
Thanks for all the support and well wishes over these past six months. It has been difficult but now it's time to start living my life again. |

Surrounded by family, my father passed away quitely on Saturday morning. Arrangements are still pending but thanks for all the well wishes these past months and I'll be answering emails again soon. |

I'm sorry I've been away. Update: My dad lost over 20 lbs in the nursing home; he won't eat. He's in the hospital right now with a blood infection and his doctor feels he may have suffered another stroke. Today's visit did not go well... he no longer knows who I am. |

On December 26th, my step-mom passed away suddenly. We were very close. Since my dad was unable to care for himself, I moved here from Atlanta. I'm sorry to say my dad suffered a stroke last Friday. He's still in hospital and slowly making progress but soon he will be moved to a skilled nursing care rehab facility. As you can imagine this has been a very difficult time for me. I'm sorry I haven't read or answered mail yet but I'll get to it soon. Thanks for understanding. |
