| Hi! Nice to meet you all. My name is Kara, but a good number of people know me as Sweetheart. So take your pick ^_^
I started getting involved in the Lifestyle and expressing myself when I started frequenting the Black and Blue Ball forums, and have found the people there to be absolutely friendly and wonderful. I've never really been a part of a community before, and love how welcoming this one is. For one of the few times in my life, I feel accepted and like I belong somewhere.
I love to read, write, paint and draw, and typically adore what would be referred to traditionally cultural things. I'm a huge fan of opera and the theatre, and my favorite painter is Renoir. I consider myself a gentleman, and an old fashioned romantic. I pride myself on my manners, and friendliness. There's a level of basic courtesy that I believe everyone deserves, and not enough people practice.
I suffer from Chronic Stomach Pain, and we have no idea what's causing it. If you have any idea what causes stomach pain but isn't an ulcer, irritable bowel disease, cancer, and doesn't show up on a urine test or blood work, let me know because my doctor and I are stumped.
