I've been doing the lifestyle thing for a long time. In the 80's, and before C.O.P.A. you just needed a phone line to learn the most interesting fetishes and kinks people were into. Quite influential on the developing teenage mind, never mind the hormones.
Since then I've developed my bag of kinks and what is my truth for the choices that I make. Cliff notes version: its all in the head, the lifestyle is about stripping away the bullshit that gets in the way of what fundamentally connects and relates any pair bond. We are what we are, Master and slave, leader and leaded. Each serves and attends the needs of the other with devotion.
While I do savor carnal indulgences, and in fact prefer physical flesh-on-flesh domination and control over toys and tools; I rather enjoy the psychology and ritual involved in things. Many things are all just a matter of how you think about them.
