Had a great day to follow my great night. Went berry picking and for lunch with my nephew, and saw my brother, his gf, and the baby. Aaaaand got some special attention from the man working at the motorcycle dealership ;) EXCELLENCE!

I have a new niece! She was born last night at 12:30 am, and I'm so happy and excited to go meet her and congratulate my brother. He came through a lot to get where he is now, proving that people can change their negative ways if they have the strength and desire to better themselves.

Just finished riding. Does anyone have any tips on shifting while going uphill? I can't seem to get the hang of it and it's starting to piss me off.

Today is another great day to practice riding my Rebel. I've gotten up to fourth gear, and now only have to try for fifth. I've burnt my ankles a few times by pulling my legs in too far again the engine, I guess. But nothing permanent.
I've always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle, the freedom of it very alluring. But I never realized what I thrill I would get from being so close to seriously injuring myself, flying along roads, completely exposed other than the clothes I'm wearing. It's almost better than sex, having that between my legs. And it's great being in control :) Let's just hope I don't become a smear on the pavement.
