I believe there are many variations in a BDSM relationship, but fall into three basic types
Type1 The play partners . . . kind of like kinky FWB. Trying to figure out if you wan to get more serious or not.
Type2 Dom sub . . . one has relinquished control, trusting in the other to make the best choice for them. This requires more time and work than play partner to reach.
Type3 The Master slave . . . it now no longer matters what choices they make, you belong to them and your desire IS the choice they make for you. This is the most time and effort intensive relationship to achieve and maintain for both parties.
Regardless of what stage my relationships settle into the rules for me are always the same Safe, sane consensual, while being fair, firm, and consistent.
