I like "Mad Men" very much. This TV series has the exact combination of what I like, at least in the first two seasons (I did not want to see the following, as I felt that they would ruin the feeling).

First, the surface, which is ultra-conservative. Fashion, behaviours, roles... remind on the "ideal" of the 50s in the USA, which was in my humble opinion (and my opinions are rarely humble) the "final chant" of the US culture, its moment of plenitude as beginning of the decacence.

Second, the depths, which are exactly the opposite. As me, the authors think that such "perfect society" was deeply flawed in order to provide happiness. The brutal lack of communication and understanding between the two genders made any possible happiness hard or even impossible. The "ideal" chacarters (in opposition of the "rare", "disfunctional" ones) cannot behave reasonably nor reach any sense of fulfillment. The profound, damaging scars of the education prevent them from it.

So, as harsh and (even today) current criticism on forced traditional role models, it touches my democratic-liberal soul, my humanistic ideals. As fashionable, elegant presentation of the esthetic (voluntary, optional) ideal, it is so extremely appealing...

I want to find a woman who thinks like me: that such a life must never, never again become a moral duty for anybody. But that this is how she wants to live with me.

Many female textes here are very aggressive, and this is very sad. And still, I can understand the poor girls - if you connect here, write a text, care about what you write... and then you get bombed by jerks who did not read your profile, one-liners and photos of penises, you eventually get angry and correct your profile to avoid everything which is making you angry.

Maybe the solution would be to correct the profile with a bit of time of relax before? Say the same, but in a more sweet way. It is hard to write a romantic, witty or interesting comment to a girl you have just seen biting half of the world about how stupid they can be.

Another possible improvement could be to say in your profile, if you want to be written with or without respect. Many girls consider "jerk" a man who disrespects them from the beginning ("I am still not YOUR slave") while others consider exactly the opposite ("I told in my profile, I am a degraded fucktoy, and this guy handles me lika a vanilla girl... what a looser!"). Sometimes it is easy to guess how the girl wants to be treated, but not always. Make it explicit, I would say.

I just read about the Gorean lifestyle. Nice, I would enjoy a master/slave relation with that aesthetic add-ons. However, as philosophy, I will stick to secular humanism.

When I am the gentleman... I will wear 50's style clothes (I am a fan of Mad Men), but not so much to look like a disguise. I will open the door of the elegant restaurant (at the very least one Michelin star), I will smile as you choose the dishes, I will recommend you a wine (although only on a general direction, not pretending to know more that I do), and we will speak about all and nothing. I will be attentive, calm and smiling. And then, without changing my expression at all, I will say with a casual voice:

- Give me your panties.

You will not be sure if you heard well. You will keep looking at me. But I won't repeat it. I hat to repeat orders.

Making efforts to take the panties off without calling the attention from the other tables. Embarrassing failures. The final moment when you simply *have* to bend and rapidly collect them from your fee as they fall.

And the half of a second, which feels like an eternity, as you extend your hand with them to me.

All that time, i will be just looking at you, smiling, interested, attentive. A good gentleman.
