I've been casually playing in the scene for over 10 years but now I'm looking to explore a BDSM relationship on a deeper level. I have a very personal definition of BDSM and power exchange and would like to find someone that shares, or at the very least, understands my philosophy. I'm looking to meet someone for a deep relationship of some sort so I hope to meet someone that I can connect with on a number of different levels. This don't necessarily mean monogamy although I am not afraid of deep commitment with the right person.
In regards to my personal BDSM philosophy, I don't really believe in labels and I think everyone has a bit of dominant and submissive within. We tend to waver throughout our lives along the spectrum of being dom or sub, but for the most part, we usually lean towards one side or the other. I think each of our dom or sub nature comes out when we interact with other people. With some, it is necessary to lead. With others, we naturally follow. I believe this dynamic is in everyone's nature. It is who we are as humans. The BDSM culture celebrates this social paradigm by exploring and sexualizing it. Each relationship within BDSM is a journey and as partners discover more about one another, a natural power dynamic develops. I seek a partner in this journey.
My Ideal Person:
An open mind and a willingness to let nature take its course are the only hard pre-requisites. Smart, sane, and a great sense of humor are huge bonuses. I'm well traveled (over 35 countries visited), ivy league educated, and successful, and I'd like to meet someone that appreciates those things.
