I desire an intelligent, articulate, and strong woman. What does this mean?

I desire a Woman who is secure enough in her own self to explore her own spirit, mind and body with wanton abandon as well as with calculation.

I desire a Woman that is cognizant of and PRACTICES the most important mantra in any lifestyle-Know Thyself.

I prefer a Woman, not a girl. I prefer that my partner not be my sycophantic girlie toy (unless of course, the scene calls for it...lol), because what I take from her and what she relinquishes to me must be acknowledged and respected. I prefer a challenge, not an easy mark. I desire to work for that give and take. Much more fun, eh?

After play, I desire someone with whom I can sit and discuss philosophy, politics, spirituality, movies, cooking, deep things, and most especially silly things. The deeper aspects of life are also the most simplest. I do not speak here of just book learning, though that is indicative of an inquiring mind. I feel that the most important aspects of life are not those one finds in a book, but by living life to the fullest. My favorite movie of all time is "Harold and Maude". Life should be fun and should be lived like your next breath or moment could be your last.

I desire that Communication be the key in all things. It can be subtle and nuanced, or it can be bold and straightforward. A lot of times, I enjoy the silences filled with words that are spoken with a look, a touch, simply being two people who can spoon and speak volumes to each other.

I am a global nomad, an explorer, and this is an integral aspect of who I am. I have lived a very nice life, by MY definition, both overseas and in the States. Yet, the cultures that have had the most influence upon me are those where people are a part of something bigger than themselves. Where one gives more than one takes. Where freedom comes with responsibilities. This is an important and integral aspect of who I am and what I am looking for.

I will be patient in my search. I am not willing to bend in my prerequisites.
