A Master-slave relationship is just that: a relationship. While there is a clear Dominant in charge, there is a two-way communication. There are many ‘Masters’ out there who fail to recognize this. They believe that they are fully in command of their submissive and permitted to treat their slaves as they see fit. This is true…to a point. The Master is responsible for his slaves training, behavior and duties, but also for her health, well-being and happiness. YES, HAPPINESS. Women, by nature, are submissive and wish to please those they serve. As a Master, you are within your rights to punish you slaves for their slights against you, or for your own amusement. But checks and balances are essential. Rewards are needed just as much as punishments. Enduring only punishment will quickly destroy the relationship your slave has with you. Even a dog expects a pat on the head every so often, lest the abused animal turn on you. And generally speaking, if you rule through fear, it usually means you are too incompetent to rule any other way. I am a great believer in ‘the bonsai theory’ of slave training. A slave, when she comes to you, begins her life as a wild, untamed bush. You break the bush by uprooting it and trimming the roots, I.e. removing it from its environment and comfort zone. Next, you cut the branches and bind others into the shape you desire. This is the hardest phase of the training as each slave is different. Like cultivating a true bonsai, you must have an expectation of the desired end shape; you cannot attack the tree by pruning willy-nilly. Some branches are essential and must be left. Each branch left is bound and shaped towards your design. Then you must water and nurture the tree, encourage each change to take hold. In the end, where there was once an ugly, untamed bush, there exists a beautiful, trained, sophisticated object of beauty to adore and admire.
