I like people who are just as comfortable escorting me to the opera as they are in being my footstool; individuals that are strong, confident and happy enough to have their own way, but that want very much to give me my way.

If you relish your own life, and seek to add to your life's fullness; if you have a semi-dry sense of humor, creativity and a celebratory approach to life; then we might suit at some level. If you like to explore life and find joy in experiencing new things – from something as simple as a new restaurant all the way to the more complex nature of human relationships, then that’s even better J

A few key things to know:

Please note that I am not seeking an "online" relationship; I like to spend the spare time I do have away from the computer as much as possible.

I'm an ardent atheist; and I firmly hold that only those truly grounded in reality can genuinely afford fantasy. If you think otherwise, we may not find much common ground for conversation.

I treasure the boy who is a part of my life today, and any other interactions need to respect that fact.

Honesty is critical to me, so I’m not willing to be part of a “discreet” relationship.

Today's rhetorical question:

Why do so many pedicure places close at 6?

Do Corporate Warriors not make up enough of the demographic to warrant catering to our schedules?  I'd like to see those studies - there must be a data flaw somewhere! ;)

Preferences 1:
Ma'am or Miss, not Mistress or Queen unless and until I give permission for that.  I know everyone uses terms differently; for me, Mistress and Queen imply a relationship status.  I'm much more comfortable with Ma'am or Miss for those I do not know.

If you'd like me to know that you actually read this before you send me an email, include the phrase "Vidi, Vici, Veni" in the subject line of your note.  As an aside - the word placement in that phrase isn't an error.

Way back when internet access was charged by the minute (and was worth every cent since it opened so many new horizons), I'd find myself staying up late into the wee hours of the morning, just reading and browsing and exchanging information.

Can't do that and be sentient for an 8 a.m. conference call.

I'm off to sleep!
