| Who I am.
As the name indicates, I am a switch male living in Ottawa, Ontario. I tend to lean from one side to the next depending on who I'm with. I know a lot of people have a problem with this and believe that a person is either purely submissive or Dominant. However, in my time in this lifestyle I have evolved and have come to appreciate both roles. If you are Dominant I will respect you and would love to learn from you. If you are submissive I certainly respect who you are and am curious to know what drives you.
I have been interested in this lifestyle for as long as I can remember. I have been active at various points and am now coming off of a 2 year hiatus of non-play.
What I believe.
This lifestyle is different for everybody. Some people prefer the occasional private bedroom play, some like to experiment in public, some are looking for casual encounters and yet others prefer long term relationships. I have learned there is a broad spectrum that encompasses everything that is this lifestyle. No one is right, no one is wrong, it is mutual respect for everyone around you and the level they are at.
Just like regular relationships it takes a while to find the right match. Hopefully you have a lot of positive experiences along the way and can learn from the ones that weren't.
The first thing that builds a relationship is honesty. That is accomplished by open communication about your likes, dislikes and experience level. If a person doesn't share the same interests as you doesn't make them a fake, it just that they differ from you and hopefully both parties have enough mutual respect for each other to just move on. From that honesty and communication builds trust. It is from that point in which everything pleasurable can grow.
