| Greetings all! I am a Dom with 30+ years experience in this amazing realm. I started as a fetishist (silk scarves and bandanas), gravitated to the bottom role, moved over to the switch mindset, and finally realized my Dom persona. Along the way, I enjoyed (and still enjoy) the physical attributes the sensual D/s world offered. Approximately 10 years ago, I realized the amazing impact one's intellect and imagination can have in this world.
And that is why I chuckle and shake my head when I read a 18 or young 20-something says they are a DOM/ME...When I read their profile, it is crystal clear 99% have NO idea what it takes to be a Dom/me. They have no idea that their life experiences are SO important to understanding your desires and - more importantly - the desires of their sub! They have NO idea about the difference between a bottom, a submissive, and a slave!
And they have NO idea that it takes getting to know a person as a person before you can know them as a submissive!!!
I am lucky to have a submissive - a REAL submissive - who knows her place in the realm. And she knows her place with me: on my arm as my EQUAL, not a footstool or some other degrading posture! She is my treasure, my jewel! I honor her; I cherish her!
The mutual respect we unspokenly extend to one another extends beyond words! Her respect to me is not shown through titles - aka Dom, Sir, etc. Rather, through her devotion to us. And my respect to her is not through demands to do or wear something. Rather through a request to do something I know we BOTH find electric!
The young ones in this realm need to understand that you cherish a diamond to enhance its value. My submissive is my diamond!
