So who am i?
Im a single Dom, i believe that D/s is 70% mental, 20% physical and 10% sexual. I say this because D/s courses through our lives, we dont choose to be Dom or sub or even switch, we just are. That connection is always there when we are lucky enough to find our partner, a look, a gesture, a single softly spoken word even while in the depths of nilla world should be enough to bring the dynamic back to the forefront of attention while the world around is blissfully unaware of what is going on in front of them. Anyone can swing a stick or bark an order, anyone can stick their arse out to receive that stick but that doesnt make them a Dom or a sub in just the same way that me being able to kick a football does not mean that i am going to be the next striker for (insert your team here) football club.
My ideal would be a sub who has the burning desire to learn, to explore. To be honest im not really interested in those that say im only into this or that. Yes everyone has their limits and those limits should be respected, however i also believe that outside a few fixed limits the reasons why those limits are there should be explored, im not saying they should be forced but are they a limit because of fear? if so a gentle nudge of that limit can change it from a limit to a curious about. At the same time that gentle nudge can reinforce the need for that limit. There is so much to explore in this lifestyle why limit ourselves. As long as there is communication, respect, trust and honesty this lifestyle is almost limitless.
Im a sensual sadist, i dont go for the extremes of pain, its the reaction i seek, it matters not to me if you can take 10 spanks on the arse or 100 cane strokes to the arse, its the reaction to that sensation that i enjoy. I dont need to see rivers of blood or masses of welts.
Other aspects i really enjoy are........

Different people react in different ways, in my view a responsible Dom should find out and cater for those needs.
All the above are just my views and opinions, there is no rulebook, there is no manual, everyone is different, everyone has different opinions. Just because they are my opinions only means they are right for me, it doesnt mean they should be right for everyone. Just because its my way doesnt mean its the only way.
I do have around 20 years experience within the D/s lifestyle, experience and knowledge that i am happy to share with anybody. I want nothing in return, though friendship would be nice.
Any relationship i do find myself in will of course have a mix of nilla and D/s, I enjoy cosy nights in front of the tv, snuggled on the sofa, reading is a passion, crime thrillers, action or adventure in the main. tv and film wise i do enjoy the likes of the csi's, crime drama, action, i am into amc's the walking dead at the moment, but i must say i do not like soaps and reality tv. I have been known to pick up a newspaper but prefer online news. Going out for meals, or just a wander through the local parks. I am diabetic and i do smoke, i very rarely drink alcohol and dont do rec drugs.

Now what is it with these people who set up new profiles to proclaim other people as fakes. Does that not just make them as fake as the fakes? Hiding behind a fake profile, honestly do you really think you are taken seriously? I remember back when i started out in this lifestyle ( i know, i know now im sounding old but please bare with me) some 20 years ago. I saw a lifestyle that was based on trust, respect and honesty. It now seems to have changed so much, it is now an age of velcro collars that mean very little, they are seen as trophies. Rather than being earned by both the Dominant and the submissive they are given away and accepted freely. Rather than being a "lifestyle" a mental connection between 2 people its now about sexual kinks, play sessions and orgasms. Its no longer about people exploring all it has to offer, about people growing together.
I know things change, things evolve, everything does but for something where people literally put their lives, hearts and souls into the hands of someone else those 3 basic words need to be the basis. Trust, Respect and Honesty. |

just a note to everyone..... Doms are not robots, they like everyone else have feelings. yes we like to keep them under control but that is not always possible. it is only a sign of weakness if that emotion is allowed to cloud their judgement. if subs can not accept that then they im afraid are looking for the impossible. i wish this sub in question all the luck in the world in her search, i enjoyed our chats. |

just an observation and this is directed at Doms, subs, switches and slaves, male, female, tg and tv alike........ why is it a lot of profiles say "i would like to meet someone local"....... then just list their location as UK?
the UK is some 94526 approx square miles in size, how can anyone determine if they are "local", no one who is real will expect you to list your address and postcode however just the county would make it easier for people to determine if they are indeed local or if they are too far away, wouldnt this prevent a lot of time being wasted? |

May i put this out there...........
I can understand that subs get a lot of mail and that most of it is trash, very very annoying i agree.
So i can also understand why serious ppl say one liners will not be responded too.
Please though think about it from the Doms point of view as well, why would a Dom spend his or her time typing out a long complex message (not copy and pasted) when they know it will not be replied to. If we are willing to put the effort into creating an origional message then do we not at least deserve a reply saying sorry you are not for me? |
