About me…why is this part always so hard? I live with me every day! I know me in and out; this should be easy, right? Ok, here goes…..I am a fun-loving explorer, who loves making new friends. That about sums it up, thanks for reading! No, wait – don’t go yet; there’s more, actually.

I enjoy and seek out new people with whom to experience new things. I mean, how do I know I don’t like it, until I’ve tried it right? I don’t feel like opposing something without having tried it is the best way to experience all that life has to offer For me, adventures are the spice of life, but new friends are the food that sustains life. An adventure could be base jumping to walking along the Chicago lakefront as long as it’s with someone I care about.

I've been described as "loyal", "stubborn" and "extremely passionate." I'd just describe myself as a good friend and loyal person who loves to socialize and joke around. I love being around people. I may be a little shy around large groups of new people at first, but it's much more likely that I will jump in and try to make a new friend. I would feel extremely lucky to find someone special to share new experiences and make new friends with.

One of my most recent adventures was joining a men's Roller Derby team. It started off as a way to get back into shape. It kicked my ass at first, but I stuck with it and it's become a vehicle to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy life. There is nothing that I dislike about it. It has produced some spectacular bruises, but women dig men that can push through the pain, right?

I'm also a big fan of board games and miniature war games. I’m a competitive person and these allow me an outlet for healthy competition. I get my unhealthy competition from beating the crap out of people on the derby floor. This means I’m well rounded 

I'm a huge fan of movies. What is better than sitting in a theatre with a few friends and 200 strangers? lol Concerts and live theatre are two other things I enjoy. There is just something kind of transcendental about watching a performance with a group of other individuals who are all experiencing the same thing. You can never get that moment back, all of you, having just had the same experience. That makes me feel as if I've just witnessed a piece of history.

So, now you know a bit about me. I’d love to hear a bit about you!
