| First and foremost, I am always a Gentleman. There is no excuse for being impolite or rude to others. The fact of the matter is that Dominance is just another part of my overall personality.
Creating in someone the desire to obey requires a subtle seduction. It can be achieved by being both confident in yourself and elegant in your manner. It takes more than giving orders and tying someone up to inspire in them a desire to do as you wish and be at your side.
BDSM is always a consensual activity. If we’re talking about acts of sadism with an unwilling victim, or bondage designed to capture a hostage or restrain a criminal, we’re not talking about BDSM. If it’s not consensual, it’s not BDSM.
Consent is important in every area of life and in all aspects of sexuality. When we are in a space in which we are all fully consenting, we open up more and go deeper in our exchanges. Whether it is a conversation between friends or sex.
This leads to communication. It is really important for us to be clear about what we want. Unless we communicate it can go wrong pretty fast.
Finally, awareness is important but tricky because it means different things to different people. In this case I believe it means remaining in touch with what’s going on for us, moment to moment, as things unfold. When we remain aware and allow ourselves to communicate honestly and openly about where we’re at, we have deeper, more intimate experiences.
