| A true and committed all encompassing Dom/Sub relationship is an ever evolving and and demands ultimate commitment from both sides. I believe the power parradox is the most important and central aspect of a Dom/Sub relationship working. It is so often the unfortunate case that the perception of BDSM is that a Dom owns a Sub and can treat them like shit for their own entertainment, or the naive expectation that if you call your partner a Sub they will do everything you want with a click of your fingers. These attitudes are appalling, and nobody deserves to call them a Dom if that is their angle. The parradox of power, control and submission in a true Dom/Sub relationship is amazing - A true Dom will work in sync with his Sub and they can both feed off each other as the relationship strengthens. That is the way she will be able to achieve complete unquestioning loyal submission, when they feel they are completely respected by, and safe in the hands of their master. for me personally being switch too heightens the understanding and intensity of any relationship, by experiencing what you would demand from a sub also being something that has been demanded of me as a sub...making me consider every command given, role played and nex experience tried from both sides of the table.
