I am a contradiction most of the time - hugely cynical but still a romantic, with big plans for the world if ONLY I could get up earlier in the mornings. I'm a writer, an actor, a dreamer and a player. What I want most out of life is true happiness. I always want to be shown something new... taken on an adventure. My loves in life (in no particular order) are music, films, books, writing, acting, dancing, costumes, sleeping, road trips, mischief-making and long walks in beautiful places. Those we love are the pillars that hold our world up.
I identify mainly as switch but have only ever had one serious play partner. I equally enjoy topping and bottoming, though it really depends on the moment. No particular fetishes other than controlled violence, gorgeous boots, PVC on men and playing with sharp objects. I am an absolute obsessive when it comes to communication and honesty... how else can we expect to get what we want out of life?
Play is therapy for me, as well as fun - nothing is quite as reassuring as taking someone's power into your own hands or offering it up to another person.
I consider myself as bi, though prefer male to female in the bedroom. Am currently in a long term relationship that is not poly, but certainly not entirely mono when it comes to 'extra-curricular activities'. I'm not looking for a random one night stand, or a new relationship. Just looking to meet some like-minded people to chat to, preferably between the ages of 20-35... beyond that, I'm not sure if I'm looking for someone new to play with. My kink-based life has taken a sudden and distressing downturn of late but I'm not the type of person who can just play with someone new. I rely heavily on trust, friendship and common interest and it's a tall order for someone to fill. Still, I still remain hopeful that I'll meet someone who I 'click' with.
Open-mindedness, charm, wit, intelligence, attractiveness (even of the quirky kind), a wee bit of cheekiness and a sense of adventure are a must. I'm not looking for anyone who's just out for a roll in the hay. A good friendship as a base to work from is essential to me. I may be picky but once I'm charmed, I'm damn loyal.

It may come across as rather arrogant to be posting communication rules but it really saves me having to point out in 70% of conversations one of the points I've made above. If you don't like it, it's not like you HAVE to talk to me :)
