On Sex

Sex is a pastime, a competitive sport, and an art all at the same time. I’m generally dominant and aggressive in bed, but that’s not always the case. Even though I like power play and submission in the bedroom, I prefer my partners and peers to be challenging and opinionated. If you want to know more about what I like specifically, ask me! I’m currently grappling with the cognitive dissonance produced from being at once a bell hooks feminist and a male dominant The sexual thrill present from dominating another person, of being in complete control of their actions and sensations is for me entirely based on trust. What is so hot is that someone else trusts me enough to have such total control over them, that they can feel okay letting go and letting me call the shots :)

On Me

My profile picture is me at Halloween last year. I was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade (the volunteer group who went over to Spain to fight Franco's fascists). No one got it, though to be fair that is a tad obscure.
(laundry list) Right now I’m reading a book entitled “London, 800-1216: The Shaping of a City” while waiting for the next book in the Wheel of Time series to come out. I used to play Capoeira Angola, though I have not since I moved back to Minneapolis since I haven’t found a group I fit in with. I box, but dislike violence, and hate war. I’m politically conscious though not particularly active – I enjoy political/economic theory and could talk about them for hours (and yes, I recognize it is mental masturbation). I’m an economic history nerd at heart, and am currently a full time student at MCTC learning how to be a machinist. I play video games and am starting a Dungeons and Dragons campaign (second edition, of course!). I drink, smoke(d) weed, and like to stay out late and be irresponsible sometimes. I like wear patterns on old leather boots and denim jeans. I really like early 90's hip hop. I’m different.

its 100 degrees here, I'm sitting in a kiddie pool, drinking some colt 45, and smoking hookah. Just trying to keep the property values down. I almost wish I was an artist so I could get a picture of this for an album cover

I'm reading a collection of Theodore Sturgeon short stories, and they are something else. He was one of the first "respectable" science fiction authors who wrote mainly in the 40's. A lot of what he writes might not be considered sci fi by todays standards, but he describes what a feeling feels like better than anyone else.

I just realized that the journal loses formatting, which is a shame for the poetry I've been posting. Also, the best rap song ever.

My current profile picture is something that I very much enjoy doing. I did make sure to get my play partners permission before posting it:)

'Rise like Lions after slumber In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew Which in sleep had fallen on you - Ye are many - they are few.
-Percy Shelly, Mask of Anarchy

This is my favorite verse out of one of my favorite poems. What can I say, I guess I'm a romantic anarchist at heart!

Draw a crazy picture,
 Write a nutty poem,
 Sing a mumble-grumble song,
 Whistle through your comb.
 Do a loony-goony dance
 'Cross the kitchen floor,
Put something silly in the world
 That ain't been there before.
-Shel Silverstein

I just finished Towers of Midnight (the new Wheel of Time book), and I was sort of disappointed. It was not bad by any means, but it was a lot of filler, and a couple of major, major plot points did not make a whole lot of sense (not going to spoil it here). All in all, worth reading, but borrow it from a friend who bought it, dont buy it yourself!

Its odd the difference between and Collar Me - Seems you have to already know people to have anyone talk to you on !
