An established and successful man in my vanilla life, I have been involved in D/s since before people used the internet. Most of my experience is offline.
My approach does not include hard core pain, bondage, abuse or anything in that category. I am not a club goer or scene maker. My interests are in D/s (dominance and submission) more than BDSM. I consider myself a pleasure dom with a deeply psychological approach. That means the primary connection is mind-to-mind, the primary method is erotic control and the primary activity is intelligently kinky sexual play.
The main thing I look for in a submissive is intelligence and self-awareness, followed by an eagerness to learn new things and to experience what she has not yet experienced. I like smart girls with slut tendencies, and I know from experience that such a girl can exist within a woman of any age, even someone with a mostly conventional life.
I always start by talking to a girl, and trying to understand her desires on a deeper level than perhaps others have. I'm a good listener, an intuitive person, polite and respectful. I am not possessive and don't try to "capture" you. If you have older man desires and authority figure cravings then we might be a very good match. If you're frustrated with vanilla sex, I can be the cure for that.
I love to meet people local to me— or who visit NYC. But I sometimes teach subs long distance when there is a good mental connection. That happens initially though IM talks, and then goes on from there to voice chats.
In meeting people online I don't have huge expectations right off the bat, I don't demand too much too soon, and I don't assume you always know what you want or who you are in this space yet. I think it's absurd that so many men message women on this site and "demand" their submission without knowing a thing about them. Only someone who has never dominated a woman in real life would do that.
As I said, I am experienced. Which means I have sub women I have trained who can serve as a reference for me, if you would like to talk to them. (They're not on this site.)
