I'm a lifetime Dominant. My earliest sexual thoughts were about control: giving detailed instructions to obedient girls. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to live that in many s, and I've grown beyond (just) the desire for control, although it remains important to me.

I know myself well, in all the dimensions entailed by that when one strives to be a great partner, friend, and leader. I'm afraid of very little, but I know my limits. That's proven to be a powerful combination. I've achieved more success than most, whether that is counted in terms of successful companies, advanced degrees, issued patents, published papers, athletic accomplishments, great relationships, or even peak experiences. It's an interesting and satisfying life, and it includes the breathing room to feel deeply grateful for it.

I can say that I understand submissives thoroughly: their needs and desires, but also the insecurities and sometimes the challenges that go with the territory, the complex dynamic in their need for care, and also for control and sometimes brutality. Nothing is more fulfilling for me than the relationship that emerges from meeting those needs.

I was active in the kink community in Montreal and later in Toronto for years, and then less so for a while. Life reasons. But I'm back -- actually we're back.
