I am often found in a pair of Carhartts, with bright eyes, a big smile on my face, and a genuine love of life. I'm a clean-living individual, who doesn't care for bar scenes. I road bike and practice yoga a couple times a week and have recently started a meditation practice. I am very socially progressive and read a lot of 3rd wave feminist theory.
I am aroused solely by women although I feel extremely comfortable around men. With my photography, and daily life, I am fascinated by power and gender roles. In many ways I relate more towards women and female gender roles, but I enjoy "playing" with hegemonic, male power roles. Hence my reason for being Switch.
I am looking for play partners in just about any form and possibly photo models (individuals and couples) for a variety of narrative tableaux involving gender and power roles, domesticity, and the production and consumption of food. I also am working on a new project involving the physical results of real, but orchestrated, violent acts on the body and their cultural implications. So far I have only used myself as a model since I haven't found anyone else willing to participate. Although I am not aroused by men, I am yearning for some dildo play with a woman (One of my newest photo projects involves me fellating a woman's strap-on). I am currently looking at graduate schools for my MFA and hopefully will be attending fall of 2009. Most of my friends are lesbians and I'm extremely envious of the alt-culture they have in Portland. Just about all the hetero folks I've met so far are pretty plain comparatively and I'm ready for a change.
