Azazel's Party last night was fantastic!!! We got to try out some of his wonderful bondage furniture; the rocking bondage horse and the stocks. So much fun, and a nice crowd in an equally nice location. I wish it were a smoke free venue as i'm now suffering the pains of allergic disaster today, but otherwise, very nice. I think people on this and other sites forget that though one may subscribe to this lifestyle or dabble in it, it is NOT the end all and be all of a persons life. I have a job (two of them actually), am a fulltime student, do my best to keep a clean and comforting home, cook, garden, take bellydance classes 3 times a week, I paint in acrylics, oils and i do theatrical makeup and then occasionally will go out and have a night on the town with friends...... and a lot of that life has nothing to do with my sex life. People tend to forget while they are typing with one hand, that a person's day is not full of sexual activities and the fantasy life that we wish we could lead. A Dom may still have a job that they have to answer to someone else. Does that make them less of a dominant in their own home and with their partner? Let's remember that we live in a real world, with mortgages to pay, jobs to do, families to participate in and a community to be active in.
For me, being a kinkster is just a facet of my sexuality, and my sexuality is a facet of my larger more varied life. I enjoy vanilla sex as much as S&M as much as Bondage and as much as none at all. I have no strict fetishes in the clinical sense that a fetish is defined as something inanimate (or more mordernly nonsexual item, body part etc) a person requires(either in thought or physically present) to bring on sexual arousal and/or orgasm.
Furthermore, people often forget that fetishism, kink, BDSM and other forms of 'sexual' play need not include sex at all. Some may argue that forced chastity in itself is a sexual act, but in terms of my life, play can exist and be fullfilling and fantastic without any sexual contact at all. I can find total fulfillment is having a sub worship my clothed legs and not need anything more than that any further north than my thigh.
So, lets not forget that people are multifacetted and multidimesional, even on a site dedicated to BDSM. |

I was asked a few Questions and I felt my answers to those question summed up a lot of how I work in general as a Switch.
