The major problem with these profiles is that people read them and then form an opinion about the person in the profile.

I would contend that it is impossible to know someone from the written word alone and if you think you know someone from the written word then you probably have the wrong impression of them and the best way of me finding out about you is to ask you questions, so please be prepared for that .

I'm not understanding why people here never carry on chats that they have started. It seems that unless the talk turns immediately to hanging them by their ankles and giving them a damn good thrashing, they get bored.
Doesn't anyone care about getting to know someone these days, or does it all have to be so instant?
