Well, I should know better.  I met a lovely lady here and we let ourselves get talked into the whole online domination crap.  She felt like hell afterwards and I think she may never be back.  I knew trying something like that online doesn't work.

I thought I would share my thoughts on the possibilities of meeting ones soul mate(s) here.  I am sharing these with you because I rarely have thoughts this early on a Sunday but someone’s profile here made me do it.

I would bet my brother in-law's life that nobody has ever met there soul mate on this site.  Bear with me here..  Perhaps they first became aware of each other here and even developed a close friendship of sorts.  But until they actually met that person,  face to (insert whatever here), heard the subtle inflections of their voice and saw the way their face expresses the emotion behind the voice, they could not be soul mates.  Even then, unless you believe in love at first sight, it most likely took a few additional real life meetings before they were hopelessly attached at the soul.

I have developed a whole new philosophy about CM or any 'dating' site.  The most one can realistically expect is an introduction to and a basic understanding of ‘potential’ mates interests.  If extremely fortunate they may form a long lasting online relationship, a virtual partner if you will.  However; the results of testing that relationship in real life are unpredictable at best.

I have been lucky enough to meet one soul mate and I hope to meet at least one more before I check out.   I will in the mean time, develop many more meaningful relationships, online and off.
