| Hello, dear reader.
Thank you for joining me here. I'm afraid I have little to say about myself, I am, as a matter of fact, rather dull. Like many, i have never had any adventures or done anything unexpected. There is little or no magic about me, except the ordinary everyday sort which helps them me disappear quietly and quickly when large stupid folk come blundering along, making a noise like elephants which I can hear a mile off. I am inclined to be fat in the stomach; dress in bright colours (chiefly green and yellow); posses longish red hair (which is curly); have long clever brown fingers, a good-natured face, and laugh deep fruity laughs (especially after dinner, which I have twice a day when I can get it).
I enjoy the simpler things in life. I gain great pleasure from well tilled earth, the sun on my face, the woods and little rivers, fields and mountains of my home. I love gardening, and anything that grows and breeds in the wild places in the world. I spend as much time as I can simply enjoying the natural world around me, and the rest of my time I retreat into my books. Worlds and worlds of pure imagination. I have visited Persia, ancient Egypt, London, middle earth, outer space and a million other places besides and I have never even had to leave my favourite chair by my hearth. I also enjoy the fruits of the land, and cook as much as I can from scratch, so my kitchen is often filled with half made jams and preserves to get me through the winter months.
I work on a farm in Powys county and I adore my work. I ensure the welfare standards of the animals of this farm and a few others like it.

I am today experiencing my first full fledged strop of my adult life. I have been, for the last 3 days desperate to get a hold of a mouse too keep as a pet but am struggling to find one anywhere. I therefore travelled over an hour to a pet shop that is meant to have them, and they had "had to close early."
