I was asked... what is a semi-open marriage.
Well, we didn't want to swing... but we knew neither one of us was monogamous at heart. This was long before polyamory was coined, nor was there a lot of information about open marriages that didn't swing back then.
So we opted for a don't-ask, don't tell, approach. Take it for what it's worth... but there's no double standard, she has the same deal as I have... and for us... it's worked.
