Okay, if you made it through that first journal entry, and if you did then BRAVO, but now you're probably wondering: 'Okay we have an idea of what these people want, but who the heck ARE they?'
That's understandable, all things considered. Of course you have our pictures to go from, but are we as a species really that superficial? Sadly, apparantly so from the seeming disregard people seem to have (and yes submissive men, we're looking at you here) towards our actual profile. Yes, they are nice pictures; that's really us, and yes they really are real.
But who are we? Are we more than a tagline? Are we the people you want to get to know? To share time and laughter with? The easy answer is: Yes, of course!
The first thing to know about us is that we've been together over 10 years, and plan on staying together. We're very happy, and very much in love. Like any couple, we are a team and support each other. What this means to you is that we're stable and not likely to split up midstream and leave you in the deep end of things.
The second thing to know about us is that we've been involved in BDSM for almost all of our relationship. We're two happy, kinky people who enjoy each other and the things that we do.

So the subbie hunt continues. When we drifted back into the scene, we never realized just how few female subs are out there. Well, let me rephrase, how many single female subs are out there. I guess the old addage is true, "It's a sellers market".
Seeing as males (and single male subs especially) are the largest population of the 'community', it's no surprise that any available females get snapped up rather quickly. Not shocking, but still daunting as heck. And of course, it more resembles a feeding frenzy than it does a polite mixer, but that's the nature of the beast for you.
Speaking of beastly behaviour; some people can be downright rude when sending, and moreso replying to emails. I guess common courtesy has gone the way of the dodo, and in a faceless medium like the Internet, it just gives people more of a chance to be jerks. Good job.
I guess part of our problem is that as a couple, we're probably a bit too mellow. We actually like to TALK to people, to get to know them before immediatly jumping into the sack, or the dungeon. What ever happened to 'friends first'? Everyone seems to claim it but few seem to be geniune about it. I'm sure we might get a bit more of a reaction if we sent out emails to potential subbies saying something like, "You! You are going to be our pleasuredoll tonight! Be at our place at 7pm, and wear nothing under your coat! We will treat you like the tramp you are!"
