I'm very consent heavy, any sub of mine will know that they're feelings, thoughts, and opinions will be considered. For awhile it has seemed like both sides are losing that need to connect. The feeling that the person you're with is happy because you're with them, not some random dominant or submissive.
As far as I'm concerned, it would be my job to help my sub be the best he could be. I want to see him thrive and blossom.
I'm not here to act superior, we're two sides of the same coin. I'm not going to force you to do anything. The type of relationship I would want is one where you submit to me because you know you can trust me, that you're safe with me. No safe words, ideally. But that takes time, that takes learning and mistakes. Not everyone is ready or willing to have that kind of journey.
As far as types and preferences, I'd like someone between 25-45, with a submissive heart, I don't have patience for brats. An honest mistake will be allowed to be corrected, willful disobedience requires punishment.
Just in case this comes up, I don't get along with people that have extremist views. As an example, I'm an atheist. I'm not going to get along with someone that's a 1 or 7 on the Dawkins scale. For people that don't know, a 1 would be someone 100% sure that god exists and a 7 is 100% sure that god doesn't exist. It is the lack of ability to admit you could be wrong or admit that people see things differently or that they need different things that gets to me. And it won't matter what view it is. With the single exception of child abusers/child rapists. I really don't care what kind of horrific shit happens to you after that.
I don't care about experience or lack thereof, we're adults if the connection is there then the other stuff can be worked out.
As for me personally, I'm a creative type, kind of odd. 32, still trying to figure out life. I can be kind of bitchy on my period, so let me know if I'm blowing things out of proportion.
