I love you.  For awhile now you have become more my friend and lover.  You have been the man I needed and you have been exquisite.  But please know that you are always my Dom, my Master, my Sensual Sadist that I fell so madly in love with.  Life has dictated that you be more the friend and the Dom has been relegated to something we acknowledge but more immediate needs have muted that somewhat.  But please, do not think for a moment that I ever forget how important you are to me as my Dom.  You are the world to me, but you are also the realization of that secret part of me that still yearns to be fulfilled.  You are my everything. 

Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to go forward.  I no longer wear the collar given to me at Christmas, but this does not mean that He does not still own my heart.  For He surely does.  I hope the collar will be returned to it's proper place when the time is right and I will enjoy this new phase of understanding and closeness for all that it has to offer.
