| Looking for friends only at this time. I might not be brilliant, but I tend to be cerebral. After years of wondering why people felt I was cold and/or weird, I think I finally have some insight. Until I am certain, however, I am not looking for a long-term relationship. Trust me when I say this is in the interest of both parties.
I'm not looking for anyone outside the East Texas/Western Louisiana area. I want to actually meet people, and since I work full time, have a child at home, and also have several offline past times that do take up my free time (including attending local lifestyle events), I have to be adamant about this distance rule. I grew up in households where the women were the heads. My paternal grandmother ran her own business in a time when that was very unusual, and was also my grandfather's boss when he entered into the same field. She was the primary decision maker there, and at home. My mother handled the money that she and my father earned, but my father always managed to spend some of it to make sure she had the best shoes of her life, mainly because he preferred being at her feet. I tried the sub thing, and I sucked at it. So don't send me emails about how I just haven't met the right person.
