well the new year started much like the old. death is a stalking horse we can not escape from. it came to a good friend. it comes for us all.

what a trip... literally. just got back from oversees. nice to see the guys in my reserve unit again. but who knew that when we reported in SD we'd be wisked away to a not so nice place for a not so nice month. it was better the last time I was there. this time was too hot, too dry and too deadly.
but back now... yeah! nice to be back and be able to change my socks everyday!
